Kardashian Collection "My Empire, My Rules"

Todays post is the third and final NOPI Kardashian Collection that I own.  "My Empire, My Rules"
So the first time I saw this color was at Target when I picked up "Kourt Is Red-y for a Pedi" and I regretted leaving without it, so of course It's all I thought about after I left and I had to get it :)  It's a taupe-mushroom color and different from anything I had.  The application was a dream and covered in two coats.  Poshe is my topcoat.

Kardashian Collection NOPI "It's All About The Glam"

Hi everyone!  Sorry for the lack of posts this weekend but I try to spend as much time as possible with my hubby when he's home :)  anyways, today I have for you "It's All About The Glam" Which is part of the Kardashian Collection from NOPI.
So this was the color I was looking forward to receiving from this collection the most but I found it was the trickiest to apply! When I applied it with no base coat I did three coats and it was very streaky.  Next I tried it with a base coat and I used OPI Ridge Filler, it dries matte and milky white so i thought maybe this would help me to more easily achieve opacity with this particular color.  I actually used two coats of OPI Ridge filler and then three coats of the color itself.  This worked very well, I had to be very careful to apply feather light pressure to the brush while applying the color and I didn't go over the same spot twice while polishing the nail.  All in all, a little bit tempermental, but with these tips and a few more practice rounds I should have this perfected!

As I've said before my camera at this time = poo, there is actually a really pretty shimmer in this polish that makes it almost "snowy", very original and I loved the effect!

OPI Holland Collection Fast Approaching Feb. 8, I CANNOT Wait!!!

OPI's Holland Collection is fast approaching with the official release date being Feb. 8 and I absolutely cannot cannot CANNOT wait!!  I've been really excited about this collection I think it's going to be one of the best they've had!  Colors I'm  most looking forward to are:  Wooden Shoe Like to Know, Gouda Gouda Two Shoes, I Have a Herring Problem, Did You Ear About Van Gogh, and Petal Faster Suzi!  How about all of you??  I would love to know what everyone plans of buying from this collection!

My fav topcoats

Today I thought I would share my new fave topcoat with you!  It's called Poshe, and it can be purchased at Sally Beauty.  It's fast drying.  I'm good to go in 10 min, it probably doesn't even take that long but I don't trust myself so I always wait a little longer ;)  Before this I used SecheVite (also can be purchased at Sally Beauty) and really loved it, it's also a fast drying topcoat.  This is lasting just as long and may even last longer, I've had it on for three days now.  The main difference I noticed is that Posh does not lose its shine, my nails are sooo shiny and the color looks so juicy still, where when using Seche Vite my nails seemed to dull after a few days. I heard that you can also reapply Poshe after a few days to refresh your mani without worrying about your polish peeling off, so I will have to try that also!

Good evening everyone!
I thought I would share a few of my fav products for my hands and nails.

Hands: OPI Avojuice is my absolute favorite lotion.  It's not thick and gooey or sticky, it's the perfect consistency and my hands feel like silk after using it.  I've tried several scents and have like them all so far, it's also only about $8.00 which is a really good price for the brand you are getting (OPI) and the amount you get!

Cuticles:  For my cuticles i Love Burts Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream.  It comes in a little tin that you can just toss in your purse and it smells incredible!  I've recently discovered this product and have only been using it for two weeks and can tell a huge difference, absolutely love love love it.

Also for my cuticle I use Sally Hansen cuticle oil.  This products is wonderful and I have been using it for over a year, it also smells great!

Kourt is red-y for a pedi NOPI

My first post is "Kourt is red-y for a pedi" from Nicole by OPI, it's from the Kardashian Collection.  I was really excited about this polish because it's the perfect tomato red color and I had been searching for one.  The formula on this was excellent, two medium coats gave me full coverage and the shine even without the topcoat was amazing.  The camera I have right now isn't the best so the pics unfortunately giving this polish the credit it deserves.  I have two other colors from the Kardashian Collection which are "its all about glam" and "my empire...my rules) so eventually I will be posting those too!
Hello gals, and guys too!
Before I started posting I just wanted to say welcome to my blog!  About a year ago I got my gel nails taken off and really dove into the world of colored polish and have become an absolute addict and I love every minute of it!  I'm hoping to meet a lot of other polish lovers and share my love of all things polish!

As of right now my collection consists mostly of OPI polishes and it's my absolute favorite brand, I also have a few Nicole by OPI's (NOPI) and I'm really beginning to get hooked on those too!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you all enjoy following me!
